Last week, three generations of my family sat round Zosia's crafting table in her lovely studio. We spent the afternoon making gifts and decorations. Some made several things, some just one. We chatted as we worked. There was a lovey atmosphere, no pressure but support and advice when needed. The studio is like an Aladdin's cave of irresistible materials and ideas. I love to create and craft and have quite a lot of experience but somehow never quite find the time, and I love meeting up with friends but not always at a crowded pub or restaurant! So spending an evening combining crafting with friends in a beautiful space with Zosia, seamlessly assisting and instructing where needed, was bliss! The studio is an architectural delight in a fab location and being directly opposite the Holburne Museum it was the most inspiring hub for creativity. Zosia was an excellent teacher and it was amazing to pick her brains on all things making! So much so, I want to come back and do all her courses! Absolutely loved the Hips and Haws embroidery workshop. I am a beginner but with Zosia's advice I managed to sew a beautiful rosehip adorned calico bag. I loved the way we were encouraged to capture the spirit of the plant with our stitches. A great evening, just a stone's throw away from the Holburne. Zoe, Bear Flat.
